Following a routine inspection of our Cellars, it was noted that some wine is still stored in their original card-board boxes which were designed for short-term upright storage. We have placed these boxes in a horizontal position, but as you can imagine, this is not an ideal long-term solution for two reasons: - The card-board box opening (the weakest point) if now
facing side-ways. In order to avoid any such problems and in our pursuit to create the very best situation for long term cellaring, we have specially designed and produced our own reinforced lay flat cartons. These new cartons are superior to the current card-board cartons for the following reasons: - Special lay-flat design which mimics the wooden crates
used for first-growth wine We are encouraging our members to transfer their wines from "up-right" carton to "lay-flat" cartons as soon as possible. We are offering these new boxes and the labour involved to transfer the wines at cost price. It would be most appreciated if you would grant us
permission to proceed by e-mailing Ms Vicki Chik
