Service Delivery Times:

  • All CWC customers who submit their wine preparation orders before 11:00 am from Mon - Fri can receive their wines the following working day without any additional charge *.
    (* Limited to 50 cases - larger orders will require more preparation time)

  • All wine preparation orders received after 11am Mon -Fri will only be ready the day after the following working day.

  • Alternatively wine preparation orders received after 11am Mon -Fri will be subject to an urgent delivery charge if required the following working day.

  • Full Club members who submit their wine collection orders for less than 6 bottles before 4:00 pm from Mon - Fri can pick up their wines at the CWC clubhouse on the same day without any additional charge.

  • All CWC customers who submit their wine preparation orders by 9am on Saturday morning can be processed the following Monday without any additional charge **.
    (** Limited to 30 cases - larger orders will require more preparation time)

  • All wine preparation orders received after 9am on Saturday morning will be included in the Tuesday or later deliveries.

  • All wine orders received after 9am on Saturdays but before 10am can be dealt with the following Monday if the urgent delivery charge is paid ***.
    (*** Limited to 20 cases)

Insurance Cover Rates for 2018

  • Full Club Members (Charges calculated by the bottle):

    1. All wine valued at HK$19,999 per bottle or below will be charged at HK$0.45 per bottle per month.

    2. All wine valued at HK$20,000 per bottle or more will be charged at HK$5 per bottle per month.

 

WINE SHIPMENTS FROM THE UK & FRANCE


This highly efficient and cost effective service has become the most popular method for Fine Wine Lovers in Hong Kong to transport their wine in total security from the UK & France to Hong Kong.

This is a complete door-to-cellar service which requires the absolute minimum effort from the wine owner.

- Use of Temperature Controlled Containers only thus guaranteeing perfect provenance

- The best wine cellaring conditions available upon arrival in Hong Kong from HK$1.10 per bottle per month

- Guaranteed private ownership of all wine in CWC Cellars

All members should follow these simple directions, after-which CWC staff will take care of everything on your behalf.

  1. Contact your UK/French storage company or wine supplier via e-mail stating your intention to relocate your wine.

  2. Instruct them to deliver your wines to Seabrooks Fine Wine Exports (our appointed agent in the UK).

  3. Provide them with a list of which wines you would like to remove.

  4. Request that they issue sales invoice (if applicable) or a valuation invoice dated within the past 12 months, providing all details of the wine for insurance and import purposes.

  5. Copy all correspondence to: gdeeb@crownwinecellars.com & vchik@crownwinecellars.com .

Charges:

  1. Less than 30 cases:
    Full Club Members - HK$240 per case + Collection Charges (if applicable);
    Non-Members HK$280 per case + Collection Charges (if applicable)
    ** MINIMUM ORDER HK$960

  2. More than 30 cases but less than 100 cases:
    Full Club Members - HK$200 per case + Collection Charges (if applicable);,
    Non-Members HK$240 per case + Collection Charges (if applicable)

  3. More than 100 cases:
    Full Club Members - HK$165 per case + Collection Charges (if applicable);
    Non-Members HK$200 per case + Collection Charges (if applicable)

Insurance cover is compulsory and is charged at 0.8% of the declared value. There is no deductible charged in the event of loss. EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 2012

NEW LAY-FLAT BOXES INTRODUCED


CWC has just taken delivery of our new in-house lay-flat boxes. The boxes have the following special design features:

  • 6-bottle size for easy handling

  • Efficient built-in bottle separators

  • Lay-flat design for long-term cellaring
