Crown Wine Cellars Supports the Autism Partnership Foundation

Autism is increasing at an alarming rate around the world, and underprivileged families are facing the heaviest burden.  Statistics in the US show that rates have increased from 1 in 10,000 in the 1980’s to a shocking 1 in 31 children at present.

Each year the Autism Partnership Foundation hosts a charity ball to raise money to assist low-income families, by providing intensive ABA treatment, training sessions and workshops for parents and teachers.

This year’s gala was themed around Hollywood films, with the slogan “Lights On, Fear Off” highlighting the courage of individuals with autism as they face life’s challenges. Through this cinematic evening, APF aimed to raise public awareness and empower individuals with autism to embrace their uniqueness with confidence.

CWC is a proud partner in this charity drive.  Aside from donating two exclusive dinner packages that were auctioned for HK$104,000, our Company Principal, Gregory DE ‘ EB, was the charity auctioneer for the 10th consecutive year.

A grand auction total of HK$3,232,976 was raised on the night.
