Crown Wine Cellars Supports the Annual School 24 Hour Charity Race

Each year, thousands of high school and university students gather all around the world for 24 hours in a global fight against child slavery. The “24 Hour Race” is a charity movement that brings change to the lives of thousands of people around the world while platforming the upcoming generation to become positive social change makers.
This year, funds were shared between fighting child slavery and the Tai Po Fund to assist those affected by the recent tragic residential fire in Hong Kong.
Crown Wine Cellars supported the 24-Hour Race for the 3rd time in 2025, through fund raising and on-site logistical support for the “Lightening McQueen” team representing Creative Secondary School. The daughter of CWC’s Company Principal, Isabella DE ‘ EB, captained the Lightening McQueen team and led their charity drive, while her dad, Greg DE ‘ EB served as the on-site RAL (Responsible Adult Leader) to oversee and assist the team.
2025 saw a total of 58 school teams comprised of 448 runners taking part in the race. The original fund-raising target was smashed with a total of HK$751,733 being raised via student fundraising alone. The Lightening McQueens took the “Most Fundraised Team” award by raising HK$86,444 of the overall total.
