Crown Wine Cellars hosts the African Parks APAC Board Dinner
Monday, 26 January 2025

Crown Wine Cellars has been a long-term supporter of African Parks and is proud to have hosted their Asian Board and VIP guests for the African Parks APAC Board Dinner 2026, held on Monday, 26th January. This exclusive event was held to celebrate AP’s incredible commitment to global conversation as the largest nature reserve and nature protection agency in Africa.
African Parks’ legacy as Africa’s foremost conservation authority is defined by its scale, impact, and innovative methodology. Managing 24 protected areas spanning over 20 million hectares across 13 African countries, the organization employs a “business approach to conservation” that prioritizes long-term partnerships with governments and local communities. Boasting the largest ranger force of any NGO on the continent, over 1,400 dedicated rangers and a track record of reducing elephant poaching by 90% in managed areas, African Parks has demonstrated that effective conservation can simultaneously safeguard biodiversity, support local livelihoods, and mitigate climate change. Recent milestones highlighted during the dinner includes the January 2026 birth of mountain gorilla twins in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Virunga National Park, a rare and significant win for this critically endangered species.
Crown Wine Cellars is likewise proud of its record upholding a deep commitment to corporate social responsibility, with a focus on sustainability and community impact. CWC leverages its network of likeminded connections to raise tangible awareness and support for wonderful organisations such as African Parks.
The evening’s resounding success was further underscored by new partnerships and support pledges, embodying CWC’s belief in the power of uniting industry leaders and conservationists to drive meaningful conservation that protect Africa’s iconic landscapes and wildlife for generations to come.
In true CWC tradition, a special bottle of wine was selected and signed by all those present to commemorate this special occasion. This signed bottle is now proudly displayed in our Library.
