at the 2025 Drinks Business

Crown Wine Cellars is very proud to announce that we are the winner of the 2025 Drinks Business Asian Green Awards Renewable Energy Implementation Award.
Having launched The Drinks Business Green Awards in 2010, the Asia Green Awards were introduced for the first time this year and focus on companies which operate in Asian markets. Winners of the first ever Asia Green Awards were announced at the recent ProWine Fair at a packed ceremony in Hong Kong. Winners included wine and spirits businesses spanning China to Champagne and Chile to South Africa.
Patrick Schmitt MW, editor-in-chief of the drinks business, asserted that “Essentially, I don’t think you can be a credible and therefore valuable product today without a sustainable aspect to your operations. And we need successful eco-friendly brands, because that allows their owners to re-invest in the sort of experimentalism needed to green our business.”
The “Renewable Energy Implementation Award”, was presented to CWC for continuously reducing carbon emissions and the use of fossil fuels (oil, coal, and gas). This award is given to a company that best commits to employing viable renewable energy technologies.
The award is a key part of The Drinks Business’s efforts to promote sustainability within the industry and to reward individuals who are making a difference in sustainability.
